a variety of improvements on the original classic 270
design, which optimize handling and ensure greater volume
and faster response, while retaining the rich and powerful
Hohner classic sound. It is the ideal harmonica for
established chromatic harmonica styles and also well
suited to more contemporary playing techniques.

Suitable for playing classical, jazz and melodies. The
Chromonica 48 has twelve single air channels offering
a range of three full octaves. This is achieved by the
use of a slide mechanism. Fundamental notes are achieved
without depressing the slide button, the relevant sharps
and flats are obtained whilst depressing the slide button.
The wooden comb is made from pear wood and is fitted
with nailed brass 1.05mm reed plates. The attractive
engraved cover plates are chrome plated.
The tone is warm, rich and mellow. Without doubt the

This special edition harmonica is engraved with the
harmonica virtuoso Larry Adler’s signature on
the cover plates.
Like the Chromonica 48 it is suitable for playing classical,
jazz and melodies. It has twelve single air channels
over a range of three full octaves. This is achieved
by the use of a slide mechanism. With the slide button
out the fundamental notes sound, once the slide button
is depressed the relevant sharps/flats are achieved.
